Also, I included the side pairing of Harry/Draco because I did some lurking and noticed you were a fan. I hope you enjoy this story, darling.
The title of this fic as well as the quote at the beginning comes from the Death Cab song “The Ice Keeps Getting Thinner”. The song and lyrics do not belong to me.

Week 5 Round Up

Hello, everyone! If you have the time this weekend, I'd like to charge each one of you to read a fic here at femmefest that you haven't yet, and leave a comment for its author. We have 26 participants this year and over 250 watchers of the community, I really think we can manage more commenting than there has been. One cliche you'll find in a lot of Drarry fics is Hermione and Pansy conspiring to get the boys together (and sometimes, just sometimes, they end up together too!). I've always wanted to write something that inverts that cliche, so thank you for this opportunity to do that. I tried to give you a well-developed plot and some strong women, per request. I hope you like it, because I had a great time writing it!
